Not every girl likes to spend hours in front of the mirror for a casual makeup look. But they still want to wear the perfect makeup look, with the least amount of effort and time invested. Being the procrastinator that I am, I have devised a few tactics out of my laziness that help me put on my makeup real quick and with a satisfying degree of perfection. Want to know? Read on to get an idea of how I effectively apply my makeup in no time.
My ultimate life savior is translucent powder. It helps me set my makeup and correct any errors effectively. Never forget to apply some translucent powder before you apply your foundation because it helps control excess oil on skin. Similarly, dusting some at the end of the makeup has an effect like a makeup setting spray. It is especially helpful for people who need to mattify their skin a little because of excess oil.
Make Your Own Tinted Moisturizer
You don’t own a tinted moisturizer? Not a big deal. Just mix up your favorite moisturizer with your foundation in a ratio that you deem fit and voila! There you have your tinted moisturizer. I find that applying a combination of these products is easier than having to spread the foundation over your entire face.
Getting thicker lashes is every girl’s dream, that’s why mascara was invented in the first place. But if you want an added oomph in your lashes, dust some translucent powder in between the coats. It enhances the volumes of your lashes and makes them appear much thicker than they actually are. It’s a tried and tested technique, and one of my personal favorites.
Ever imagined what it would be like to wear a wide range of colors as eyeliners? I’ll tell you from experience, they look gorgeous! Especially in summers. But you don’t need to buy a range of colorful eyeliners for that. Just find your favorite lipstick shades in your vanity box, grab an eyeliner brush and just apply it across your eyelid. You’ll be surprised to see the result.
Concealer = Makeup Fixer
Your concealer serves as the best erasing product ever for all the smearing and smudges you sport as a result of a makeup dysfunction. So fret not, grab your concealer wand and apply a little product at the smear. And blend in with the tip of your finger. This should erase the smudges very neatly and without messing up your foundation.
Clear Tape Tip
If you want apply your perfect cat eye but you somehow manage to mess it up, clear tape comes to the rescue. But there’s always a chance that it might mess up your base, so take the piece of tape and stick it to the back of your hand. This way, its stickiness would reduce.
I hope these simple tips and tricks would help you get your makeup right in no time! Stay happy!
