I LOVE shopping at places like Ulta and Sephora for my beauty purchases, along with the king of online shopping, Amazon!
You can find some really good stuff on Amazon, and beauty products are no exception. You’ll find drugstore/affordable brands (like Maybelline and NYX) and high end/luxury options (like First Aid Beauty and Juice Beauty) too. I love shopping on Amazon in general because the perks of a prime membership are awesome, especially the free 2-day or even one-day shipping, depending on what you order.
These are my top 12 Amazon beauty picks that I purchase frequently, or have purchased in the past and fell in love with.
Did you know that if you sign up for their beauty subscription box you’ll get samples of beauty and hygiene products along with a free $19.99 credit to use towards a luxury beauty purchase? It’s a great way to try a bunch of new products and the best part is that you get money off on a future luxury beauty purchase! My last box had products from brands like Jane Iredale, Meaningful Beauty, La Rosche Posay, Juice Beauty, and Calvin Klein.
they also have subscription boxes for:
- Aveeno Beauty
- Men’s Grooming
- Luxury Sun Care
- Nutrition and Wellness
- Mr. Olympia Sports Nutrition
- even Allure Beauty Subscription Box
If you have issues with hyperpigmentation or acne scars, or you get frequent micro dermabrasion treatments, vitamin c serum is a must for you. Vitamin C brightens the skin, accelerates cell turnover and reduces discoloration and uneven skin tone. This is the best affordable option that you can order right off of Amazon. I’ve been using it for about 2 months now, and I already see a significant difference in my skin tone. Make sure that you are using sunscreen daily along with this, as Vitamin C makes our skin much more sensitive to the sun’s harmful rays. Your skin must stay protected at all times while using this.
This Amazon beauty buy is a cult favorite among skin care junkies, or just people who care about their skin in general. This mask is known to work wonders for those with very congested, oily, acne-prone skin. The mask comes in powdered form in the jar and it’s meant to be mixed with water or another liquid like lemon juice, aloe vera juice, or apple cider vinegar. You can use this as a face mask or a hair mask.
This is basically the most inexpensive spa-like facial treatment you’ll ever have! It is excellent at un-clogging pores and zapping blemishes due to the bentonite clay. If mixed with apple cider vinegar it’ll work 2x better at eliminating acne.
Literally everyone needs sunscreen, so if you’re not a regular user of sunscreen please, for the love of God, start! Seriously, the sun’s UV rays are not our friends! And If you’re fixing to try out that Vitamin C serum I just told you about, make sure to add this or whatever your favorite sunscreen is along in your cart! Since I have oily skin this is the best affordable option for matte SPF. I actually mentioned this sunscreen in my “Must Have Products For Flawless Natural Makeup” post because it’s great to wear underneath your makeup. Due to how well it mattifies the skin, this can do well as your primer too, if your skin is on the combo/oily side. I subscribe to the monthly delivery and save more money, about $5-$6 less than what they want in my local CVS to be exact.
Honey’s not just food anymore; it’s legitimately an awesome thing to add into your beauty routine. Not only will it provide amazing beauty benefits when ingested, but it is an excellent ingredient to have in your skin care and hair care products. The humectant nature of honey hydrates and moisturizes the skin and hair. The antibacterial properties of raw organic honey has been shown to reduce inflammation in the skin considerably, as well as prevent new acne breakouts by killing the bacteria that causes them. I use it in my favorite DIY face mask and my weekly deep conditioning hair mask (I’ll be sharing the recipe to both of these soon!)Like the article so far? Send a tweet to share!Click To Tweet
I have never felt the need to splurge on any of my makeup brushes. Why? Because elf and Amazon brush sets exist! Don’t turn your nose up at this Amazon beauty buy; Every last brush set I’ve ever purchased from Amazon has lasted me well over a year! I still use the very first one I’d purchased back in 2015! They have really great quality brushes for the price and I have yet to be disappointed. A makeup brush set from Amazon is a must-have for makeup lovers on a serious budget.
Raise your hand if you have never bought a real beauty blender sponge. I haven’t, and unless I see a good sale on it, I don’t plan to!
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I have an issue with handing over a whole entire $20 bill for … a sponge…
The very first beauty sponge applicator I ever purchased was the RealTechniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (which you can also purchase on Amazon here) I still use that sponge and it’s a favorite of mine.
I got the Aesthetica sponge because the real techniques sponge got old and worn out, and it needed a replacement. It looked almost identical to the real beauty blender, which is what enticed me. The price was about half of the original which is what encouraged my decision to buy it. While I can’t say if it’s a dupe or not since I’ve never tried the real thing yet, it works pretty darn well for me!
Dealing with severe adult cystic acne, it’s a true challenge to find the right skin care products that help in combination with my prescriptions to keep my condition under control. This serum actually does a pretty good job at keeping my skin clear. It’s great for those with sensitive and acne prone skin who are looking for a daily treatment that’s free of harsh chemicals and will still get the job done, The serum is made only of all natural ingredients. I usually lean towards the natural/green beauty side when it comes to skin care.
After getting burned (literally!) by different store-bought bar soaps, my family decided to go with the natural route. Even after using Dove for years, it didn’t seem to keep our skin hydrated like it used to anymore. African black soap is a rave beauty secret of ethnic cultures, and we used to use it. But my mom didn’t like that many of the commercial brands contained chemicals like chlorine in the soaps! After a quick search on Amazon we opted for this one instead, and boy was it one of the best decisions we ever made.
This soap is made completely of only natural oils and butters. There are no sulfates, parabens, and it’s cruelty free. pretty much universal: it works for the face, body and hair! Lather it up literally from your head to your toes and indulge in a luxurious experience. My face and body feels exceptionally hydrated after I shower with this soap. It’s the perfect replacement for shampoo, as it hydrates my hair and brings out it’s defined curl pattern beautifully. It’s probably my best Amazon beauty buy yet, and I’m very curious to try the other soap varieties from the SheaOlein line.
I have NO idea why this eye liner was discontinued in stores because it is the absolute best affordable liquid liner pen I’ve ever used! The ink is extra black and it’s so easy to apply. The pencil form makes it foolproof for beginners and super quick and easy to glide across the lid. I can’t find this anywhere other than amazon now, and at less than $4 you really can’t beat the price. This is an Amazon beauty buy that’s a must have if you’re serious about your eye makeup.Tweet these 10 awesome Amazon beauty buys to your friends and share the knowledge!Click To Tweet
