It’s time for another round of the Ulta 21 days of beauty sale! During this sale, Ulta slashes about 50%+ off dozens of products from top brands that are usually a pretty penny. These discounts are what they call “Beauty Steals.” According to Ulta.com:
Beauty Steals are available for one day – and one day only! They are special savings of 50% on our most loved brands. You’ll see them only a few times a year: during 21 Days of Beauty, the Gorgeous Hair Event and the Love Your Skin event.
If you’re a Platinum or Diamond member, ALL beauty steals ship free for you during the entire 21 days of beauty sale!
It’always a pleasure to save some extra money on things that make you happy, am I right? I’m pretty excited about this September 2018 sale lineup! I’m sharing my top picks on what I’m considering and definitely will be purchasing during the sale.
Sale Price: $20.50
I’m not sure why, but I’m obsessed with glowing skin. Anything that makes my skin look dewy, glowing, and radiant from within, I want it, BAD! The Becca shimmering skin perfector liquid highlighters are so beautiful. I’d love to add one of these to my collection.
Sale Price: $7.50
I’m getting into under-eye skincare since I’ve never really invested money into eye products. These eye gels sound like a nice start.
Sale Price: $10
I’m a lipstick junkie, and after hearing about ow great these lip paints are, I’m planning on picking up a few.
Sale Price: $12.50
This is one of the best mascaras that I’ve ever tried. I believe it’s definitely worth the price. I’ve yet to find a drugstore dupe for this mascara. Trust me, I’ve tried LOTS of cheaper mascaras.
Sale Price: $11.50
I love this more than I liked the pencil. The shape of the definer makes it so much easier to shape my brows and fill them in. I find that my brows are a bit more on the fuller side, so it often feels extra tedious trying to create hairlike brush strokes with the usual darn near paper thin “led” of the brow pencils.
I can go in with this and be quick with my brows and be done in less then 3 minutes. Now that it’ll be just about the same price as a drugstore brown pencil, I’m sure this will be one to fly off the shelves quickly. Therefore, I’ve gotta make sure that I take advantage.
Sale price: $13.50
Dermablend is a great makeup brand for makeup that can cover even the most difficult to conceal, like tattoos, skin issues like acne or eczema, or just helping to give you that “not budging for nothing” makeup day.
I’d originally seen YouTuber Destiny Godley use this brand, and what stood out to me was the setting powder. She spoke highly about it, and her finished cake-face looked smooth and flawless after setting with this powder. I’d been curious to try it ever since.
I know everyone raves about the Laura Mercier one, but I don’t see the point in spending so much on a simple translucent powder. (However, she has recently come out with the new “glow” option of this powder that I actually am interested in.)
Sale Price: $9
I’ve always been curious to try some lip products from Dose of Colors. The glosses always looked gorgeous on people I followed on social media. I have a friend that’s a fan of their lipsticks too. ow may be my chance to give something from them a try. This will be an online only offer.
Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum (Sept 15)
Sale Price: $22.50
I’ve been eyeing this vitamin c serum from Mario Badescu for a while now, but I wasn’t comfortable shelling out over $40 for ANY skin care product just yet. Thankfully it’ll be going for half off, so I have to get my hands on it now while the getting is good. I’ve got dark marks to fade!
Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara (Sept 15)
Sale Price: $11
The first time I got this was about 2 years ago during their Spring 21 days of beauty sale. It was the first higher end mascara that I’d ever tried, and I was impressed. It makes my lashes look beautiful, providing the perfect mix of separation and volume that I need.
Sale Price: $19.50
I tried a sample of this before, and I was very impressed with how smooth and plump it made my skin feel. For some reason, my skin felt almost brand new. I don’t know what kind of magic they put into this stuff, but I know it’s good. The price for it during this sale is good too, which is why I’ll be grabbing it.
Sale Price: $19
You know how you’re obsessed with the results of the product but can’t bring yourself to spend the money on it? That was my relationship with this primer, until now. Considering that this primer will be less than $20, when it’s usually closer to $40, I’ll be racing my tale into Ulta before 12 noon on this day, just to make sure everyone doesn’t snatch them all up before I get there.
Sale Price: $21
These highlighter drops are BEAUTIFUL! I understand why they were selling out so quickly when they first hit the shelves. However, for how tiny the bottle is, it seems almost fraudulent that they’re charging a whopping $42 for them, each! When I had a craving for an expensively glowing face, I went about it the cheap way and got as many little free samples as I could of this Product. Then I stretched them for a good 2 months.
In all honesty, a close dupe to these are only about $8-$9 from Makeup Revolution. They’re not exact in my opinion, but they’re great enough for me not to miss the CoverFX ones too much. However, I still really like these highlighters, and I may not ever find a sale like this anywhere else. I guess I’ll see on the 20th if I cave in for these or not. I probably will though. I probably will…
Sale Price: $9.50
Clinique actually has some pretty impressive skincare products, like this moisturizer here. I can definitely call this oily skin approved. This moisturizer balances my skin, gives it a smooth base, and makes my skin feel refreshed and nourished. I’m very excited to pick this up at the sale price on the 21st!
Sale Price: $16
Back when everybody and they mama was using this primer, I didn’t understand it: what in the world is so special about this “pore minimizing” primer in particular that’s got folks out here paying over $30 per ounce for it?!? Once I tried my little free sample from Sephora is when I found out why.
Literally, as I looked in the mirror, my pores had pretty much “disappeared” right before my eyes. It was mind blowing, and I hadn’t seen anything like it before. This may be unpopular opinion, but I also enjoyed the upscale department store perfume-like scent this primer had too. It made the experience seem more luxurious.
Now, although the price looks good, and the results look great, there are quite a few other “pore-minimizing” primers on this list that give great results too. Plus, they’ll help considerably with my oil slick T-zone. So I’m grappling with the idea of spending on this primer.
I mean, but you can never have too many GOOD primers, right? Thinking about it, I won’t need to buy another primer for months so… investing in all of them could actually be a good idea.
Sale Price: $16
the UD All Nighter setting spray is among my holy grail makeup products. Honestly expected the de-slick to perform better sine I have oily skin, but this one outshines that option considerably. My makeup DOES NOT MOVE whenever I use this. When they said “ALL Nighter”, they meant that!
I’m cheap as hell sometimes so I usually pick this up at Nordstrom Rack for about $19. Now I can save a few more dollars and pick this up during the 21 days of beauty sale. Plus, I’ll earn some points rewards. Sweeeeet!
There’s also a few more things I have on my shopping list, what they’re calling “Hot Buys”. The Hot Buys will remain their discounted price for every day the sale is on.
Sale Price: $19
I’ve heard a few good things about this primer. I used to be against investing lots of money in things like primers, but now I understand completely why people are willing to spend more on this step in their makeup routine. A good primer truly does set the foundation (no pun intended LOL) for a great makeup day. I’m a sucker for anything that promises things like “mattifying” and “pore-minimizing”. For just about half its original price, this may be a good deal I shouldn’t miss out on!
Sale Price: $10
I’m on a huge lip gloss kick as of late, so this sounds like the perfect opportunity.
Sale Price: $4 for glue, $8 for lashes
I need some good lash glue, plus Pur’s lashes look amazing! And for less than $10 a pair, I just might be stocking up.
Sale Price: $18
I’m not a big blush girl, but these from ABH look very pretty. I may need to check them out in the store before I commit to actually buying one. We’ll see.
